Drive to Bago (Ancient Mon City), around 2 hours drive from Yangon, on the way visit Htuak Kyant War Cementary (27,000 stone-graves of Commonwealth and Allied Fallen Sodiers in the Myanmar Campaign during Second World War). Sightseeing include colourful local market, Kyakkhatwine monastry to see Buddhist monks ways of life. Then visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda or Golden God Temple, the 375 feet in height pagoda and hold the record for the tallest pagoda in the country. Located nearby is Kanbawzathadi Palace, the original palace built for King Bayinnaung in 1556, consisted of 76 apartments and halls. It was burned down in 1599. It was reconstructed in 1990 and finished in 1992

Continue to Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha Image is considered to be one of the most lifelike of all reclining Buddhas. It was originally built in 994 AD by the king Migadepa to commemorate the changes of the religious from animist to Buddhism. Visit to Kyaike Pun Pagoda, four gigantic Buddha Images all in sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of compass.

In Famous Pagodas, you will pay Camera and Viedo fees and the cost is staring from USD 1-3. For Video and Camera plug at hotels, mostly are widely use 2 Pin Plug and if they have not, they can contact to Reception and can rent free of charge. Photography in airports, railway stations and near any military installation is forbidden.
